How many Hispanic students were enrolled in Legacy School of Sport Sciences District in 2022-23 school year?

There were 110 Hispanic students enrolled in Legacy School of Sport Sciences District in the 2022-23 school year, 23.6% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Legacy School of Sport Sciences District welcomed 447 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Hispanic students comprised 24.6% of the student body to be one of the most represented ethnicities in the district.

Legacy School of Sport Sciences District roughly covers schools within Harris County and has a main office in Spring.

Legacy School of Sport Sciences was the only school in the district which enrolled Hispanic students, welcoming 110 students in the 2022-23 school year.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
