Morgan Luttrell, Congressman for Texas' 8th District, has recently shared his views on a series of topics through a series of tweets. Luttrell, who replaced former U.S. Congressman Kevin Brady in 2023, congratulated Brady for an honor related to local infrastructure and commented on national security measures being implemented at the U.S. southern border. He also expressed support for law enforcement efforts against criminal elements.
On March 26, 2025, Luttrell tweeted "Big congratulations to my friend Kevin Brady on the well-deserved honor of having a library and community center named after him! He’s a true leader and fighter for Texas. Proud to call him a friend."
On March 27, 2025, Luttrell remarked on the deployment of surveillance satellites by the Trump administration. He said, "The Trump administration is deploying surveillance satellites to monitor the southern border because securing America means using every tool we’ve got. This is the leadership we need to stop cartels, traffickers, and illegal crossings."
Later that day, Luttrell tweeted about the removal of an MS-13 gang member from the community. He stated, "One less MS-13 criminal on our streets. Huge win for law enforcement and the Trump admin — keep hunting them down."
