There were five American Indian students enrolled in Aristoi Classical Academy School District in the 2022-23 school year, the same number as the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Aristoi Classical Academy School District welcomed 1,316 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, American Indian students comprised 0.4% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Aristoi Classical Academy School District roughly covers schools within Harris County and has a main office in Katy.

Among the three schools in Aristoi Classical Academy School District, Aristoi Classical Upper School recorded the highest enrollment of American Indian students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of four students.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
