Morgan Luttrell, currently serving as the U.S. Congressman for Texas' 8th district, has recently shared several thoughts via Twitter. Within these, he discusses support for veterans, concerns regarding artistic depictions, and subsequent actions by educational institutions.
On March 28, 2025, Congressman Luttrell expressed his intention to support veterans through legislative measures, stating "Service dogs change lives, and every vet who needs one should have one. Looking forward to introducing the Service Dogs Assisting Veterans Act next week!"
Later the same day, Luttrell criticized a community college's decision to display controversial artwork. His tweet noted, "Why is @lscmontgomery hanging artwork that depicts violence against Trump supporters and compares them to Nazis? This is what passes for 'art' now? Taxpayers shouldn’t be funding this garbage. It needs to be taken down, and fast."
Subsequently, Luttrell posted an update regarding the college's response, "This 'artwork' has been removed. Appreciate @lscmontgomery acting quickly." acknowledging the swift action taken by the institution.
