On Saturday, March 22, former Cypress Creek High School standout DJ Richards Jr.’s current collegiate team the McNeese State Cowboys lost 76-62 against the Purdue Boilermakers in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Amica Mutual Pavilion, this was the first game against the Purdue Boilermakers during the championship.

DJ Richards Jr.’s hometown is Houston and game position is shooting guard.
