DJ Richards Jr., former Cypress Creek High School standout’s collegiate team plays on Thursday, March 20 in Division I NCAA Basketball Championship Tournament

On Thursday, March 20, former Cypress Creek High School standout DJ Richards Jr.’s current collegiate team the McNeese State Cowboys won 69-67 against the Clemson Tigers in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Amica Mutual Pavilion, this was the first game against the Clemson Tigers during the championship.

The McNeese State Cowboys’ next game will take place on Saturday, March 22 at 12:10 p.m. in Amica Mutual Pavilion against Purdue Boilermakers.

DJ Richards Jr.’s hometown is Houston and game position is shooting guard.
