Congressman Morgan Luttrell, representing Texas' 8th district, recently shared updates on his engagements with local communities through a series of tweets. Serving in the U.S. Congress since 2023, Luttrell has been active in addressing community concerns and collaborating with local officials.

On March 18, 2025, Congressman Luttrell tweeted about his meeting with elected officials from Polk and San Jacinto Counties. He stated, "This morning I met with Polk and San Jacinto Counties elected officials. We talked about the work DOGE is doing and grant funding to help bolster our local communities."

Later that day, he expressed gratitude towards law enforcement officers in the same counties. In his tweet, he mentioned having lunch with them and acknowledged their efforts in maintaining safety. He wrote, "Enjoyed lunch with Polk & San Jacinto law enforcement officers! Thankful for all they do to keep our communities and families safe."

On March 19, 2025, Luttrell reflected on his visit to the Alabama Coushatta Reservation. He shared insights into touring the new Education Service Center and reconnecting with a fellow alumnus from Sam Houston State University by tweeting, "Enjoyed visiting the Alabama Coushatta Reservation yesterday. We walked through the new Education Service Center and, of course, I managed to find a fellow Bearkat!"
