On March 18, 2025, Congressman Luttrell tweeted about his meeting with elected officials from Polk and San Jacinto Counties. He stated, "This morning I met with Polk and San Jacinto Counties elected officials. We talked about the work DOGE is doing and grant funding to help bolster our local communities."
Later that day, he expressed gratitude towards law enforcement officers in the same counties. In his tweet, he mentioned having lunch with them and acknowledged their efforts in maintaining safety.
