Congressman Morgan Luttrell, representing Texas’ 8th district, has been actively engaging with his constituents and followers on social media. Since replacing Kevin Brady in 2023, Luttrell has focused on economic issues and veteran affairs, as evidenced by his recent tweets.

On March 12, 2025, Congressman Luttrell shared an update about the state of the economy. He highlighted a significant decrease in core inflation to its lowest level in four years and noted that mortgage rates have also dropped to their lowest since December. Luttrell attributed these economic improvements to the efforts of Republicans and the Trump administration. "Core inflation dropped to its LOWEST level in four years today! And mortgage rates are the lowest since December. Republicans and the Trump admin are getting our economy back on track."

The following day, March 13, 2025, Luttrell announced his collaboration with Representative McGarvey on two legislative initiatives aimed at supporting veterans. The Veterans COLA Act and Review Every Veterans Claim Act are designed to prioritize veterans' needs by ensuring they receive their benefits without bureaucratic delays. "Proud to introduce two critical bills with @RepMcGarvey: The Veterans COLA Act & Review Every Veterans Claim Act. These bills put veterans first, ensuring they get the benefits they've earned without bureaucratic roadblocks."

On March 14, 2025, Congressman Luttrell addressed concerns regarding border security personnel's compensation amid potential government shutdowns. He cosponsored the Pay Our Border Patrol and Customs Agents Act to guarantee that border agents continue receiving paychecks even if a government shutdown occurs due to political disagreements in Washington. "I cosponsored the Pay Our Border Patrol and Customs Agents Act to ensure our border agents get paid even if Democrats choose to shut down the government. Our frontline defenders shouldn’t go without a paycheck just because Democrats grind Washington to a halt."
