Congressman Morgan Luttrell, representing Texas’ 8th district, has been vocal on social media regarding recent legislative developments and awareness initiatives. In a series of tweets, Luttrell addressed issues related to border security and neuroscience advocacy.

On March 10, 2025, Luttrell emphasized the importance of technology in border security. He stated that "Securing our border requires more than just manpower -- it requires cutting-edge technology that gives our agents the tools they need to stay ahead of the threats we face." Following the passage of H.R. 993 in the House, he urged the Senate to consider the Emerging Innovative Technologies Act.

The following day, March 11, 2025, Luttrell announced the success of another legislative effort. He shared that "The Subterranean Border Defense Act, which I cosponsored, passed the House last night!" The bill aims to enhance border security by providing tools for detecting and shutting down smuggling tunnels.

Later on March 11, Luttrell highlighted his involvement in promoting brain health awareness. He tweeted about recognizing Brain Awareness Week from March 10-16 and said "I just spoke on the House Floor to recognize March 10-16 as Brain Awareness Week." As co-chair of the Congressional Neuroscience Caucus, he encouraged colleagues to acknowledge contributions from scientists in this field.
