Morgan Luttrell, a U.S. Congressman representing Texas' 8th district since 2023, has recently shared his views on several pressing issues through social media posts. Born in Houston, Texas, and currently residing in Magnolia, Luttrell is an alumnus of Sam Houston State University.

On February 10, 2025, Congressman Luttrell expressed his belief in the effectiveness of law enforcement by stating: "Turns out enforcing our laws is effective!"

In a subsequent post dated February 11, 2025, he addressed concerns regarding unaccompanied migrant children under the Biden Administration's watch. On February 12, 2025, Luttrell highlighted international security threats from various countries and emphasized the need for increased defense investments. He remarked: "China is rapidly expanding its nuclear arsenal. Russia’s Army is bigger now than before invading Ukraine. North Korea is doubling down on nukes. Iran’s proxies attack American troops. We need to make serious investments in our defense to keep pace with the threats we face."
