Congressman Morgan Luttrell, representing Texas' 8th district, shared a series of updates on his social media regarding the developments and activities in his constituency and beyond. Luttrell, who has been serving since 2023 after succeeding Kevin Brady, highlighted significant local growth and national security efforts.

On February 3, 2025, Luttrell noted the booming real estate market in his district. He stated that "TX-08 is booming! The two most popular zip codes in America for homebuyers are right here in our district — Katy and Cypress!" He expressed pride in representing such a thriving community.

Later that day, he commented on visits by key government officials to the southern border. Luttrell wrote: "Thrilled to see Secretary Noem was at the southern border this weekend and Secretary Hegseth is there today to check in with our troops." He praised the Trump administration's efforts to secure the border and strengthen national security.

On February 4, 2025, Luttrell shared insights from his recent visit to Vitol Global Solutions. He remarked: "Last week, I toured Vitol Global Solutions — the largest trading floor in Houston with ships, barges, and energy production all over the world."
