On January 28, 2025, Crenshaw criticized what he perceives as a tactic of the "woke left" to attack cultural icons. He stated: "Then don’t accept the role. The following day, January 29, 2025, Crenshaw expressed support for an executive action by former President Trump aimed at blocking taxpayer funding for hospitals that transition minors.
