Congressman Morgan Luttrell, representing Texas' 8th district since 2023, has recently expressed his views on several issues through a series of tweets. These posts highlight his concerns and legislative actions in Congress.

On January 23, 2025, Congressman Luttrell addressed the issue of veterans' rights. He stated that "For over two decades, without any due process, VA bureaucrats have stripped over 250,000 veterans with fiduciaries of their Constitutional right to possess and purchase firearms." He emphasized the need for Congress to pass "a permanent legislative solution to protect veterans’ Constitutional due process" here.

Later that day, Luttrell criticized Democrats regarding medical care for children who survive abortions. He remarked that "204 Democrats voted against providing medical care to children who survive abortions." Drawing from his military experience, he noted that even injured terrorists were given medical aid when required by legislation and questioned why similar support was not extended by Democrats here.

On January 24, 2025, Luttrell provided an update on recent legislative activities in Washington. He announced that "This week in Washington we sent the Laken Riley Act to President Trump’s desk," celebrated the passing of the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Act in the House, and noted President Trump's signing of executive orders on border security here.
