City Of Galena Park issued the following announcement on Nov. 17.
I would like to invite Everyone to a Curbside Food Distribution TODAY, November 17 from 11:00 AM until supplies last at the City’s Food Pantry located at 1702 3rd Street. There will be fresh fruits, vegetables, milk, cheese, and more.
Please remember - it is imperative that for your safety and the safety of our employees, we obey and follow the Houston Food Bank and CDC guidelines for social distancing. Please stay in your car and keep your windows closed. Do not get in direct contact with individuals not related to the event and have your vehicle trunks open.
