On March 3, 2026, U.S. Representative Wesley Hunt will host an Election Night Watch Party in Houston.

The event coincides with Texas voters heading to the polls. According to Hunt’s campaign announcement, the occasion is intended as a moment for Texans to “send a clear message to the Washington establishment: in Texas, we choose our own leaders.”

Hunt has served in the U.S. Congress representing Texas’s 38th District since 2023. He was born in Houston in 1981 and currently resides there. In previous elections, Hunt defeated Duncan Klussmann in the 2022 general election with 162 votes (63%) to Klussmann’s 91 votes (35.5%), and Melissa McDonough in the 2024 general election with 214 votes (62.9%) to McDonough’s 126 votes (37.1%).

“Wesley Hunt has traveled every corner of our great state, sharing a message rooted in faith, family, and freedom. From small towns to major cities, he has listened to Texans and stood firm in his commitment to our shared values. With hard work, grit, and determination, Texans are ready to challenge the status quo and make their voices heard,” according to Hunt’s campaign announcement.

The campaign describes the upcoming event as an opportunity for supporters and voters to gather as results come in from across Texas.
