Rep. Wesley Hunt Press Office, the official communication channel for Representative Wesley Hunt, recently shared a series of tweets on various topics ranging from First Amendment rights to economic performance and political perceptions. The tweets reflect the office’s stance on these issues and provide insight into current events.

On June 11, 2025, Rep. Wesley Hunt Press Office tweeted about President Trump’s support for the First Amendment while emphasizing that violence against law enforcement and destruction of public property are not acceptable forms of protest. “President Trump supports and encourages the practice of the First Amendment. However, when protesters begin to harm law enforcement and destroy public property that is no longer a peaceful protest and it will NOT be tolerated.”

In another tweet posted shortly after, the office highlighted positive economic news from May’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) report. The post stated that inflation continues to decline, attributing this success to the economy supported by millions of American voters. “ALERT: Another month of smashing expectations. May’s CPI report shows amazing economic results as inflation continues to fall. This is the economy that 77 million Americans voted for.”

The final tweet addressed comments made by a reporter regarding former President Trump’s self-perception, which were countered by the White House Press Secretary’s response asserting Trump’s role as President rather than any monarchical aspirations. The press secretary also presented images depicting alleged Democratic-led destruction in Los Angeles during this exchange. “Reporter: ‘Trump sees himself as a king’. Press Sec: ‘No.. He see’s himself as the President of the United States’. WH Press Sec. shuts down reporter and flashes photos of Democrat Destruction in LA.”

Wesley Hunt has been serving in Congress since 2023 representing Texas’s 38th District. Born in Houston in 1981, he continues to reside there at age 41.
