Tom Oliverson, M.D., a Republican member of the Texas House of Representatives for District 130 since 2017, recently shared several updates and reactions on his social media account regarding legislative activity and colleagues in the Texas Legislature.
On August 20, 2025, Oliverson celebrated progress on a piece of legislation by posting: “#BigBeautifulMap has passed to 3rd reading! @toddahunter great job! #txlege https://t.co/hzGNsNZO0V”.
Later that same day, he commented on remarks made by another caucus member, stating: “Watch this epic takedown of Democrat lies and slander by caucus member @KatrinaPierson. No one, and I mean no one on the other side of the aisle had courage to back mic her after what she had to say! #txlege https://t.co/L6WU5LA9Cz”.
On August 21, Oliverson acknowledged the retirement of a fellow legislator with the message: “Another Capitol Wingman retires. It’s been an honor to serve with you @RepStanLambert, aka Big Stan. I will miss you. #txlege https://t.co/gvp59bVpwO”.
Oliverson has represented Texas’s 130th House district since his election in 2017, succeeding Allen Fletcher as state representative.
