Tom Oliverson, M.D., a Republican member of the Texas State House representing the 130th district since 2017, used his social media platform to highlight ongoing flood recovery efforts and political endorsements in August 2025.
On August 19, Oliverson addressed the recent natural disaster affecting Texans, writing, “Our focus remains on our fellow Texans struggling to recover from last month’s devastating floods. Join us in raising funds for them in this “day of giving”! #txlege”.
The following day, he expressed gratitude to supporters with another post: “Thank you for your support! Let’s get it done! #txlege”, dated August 20.
Later that same day, Oliverson endorsed a colleague for statewide office. He stated, “I am honored to support my good friend and colleague, @mayes_middleton for #TXAG. I can promise you, no one works harder than this guy, and he will be an amazing, principled AG. #txlege” on August 20.
Oliverson has served as a representative since succeeding Allen Fletcher in the Texas State House. His recent posts reflect both ongoing community challenges after severe flooding and his engagement with state-level political campaigns.
