Tom Oliverson, M.D., a Republican who has represented Texas’s 130th House district since 2017, shared a series of statements on his social media account addressing healthcare costs, billing fraud, and political endorsements.

On October 30, 2025, Oliverson expressed support for expanding consumer-driven healthcare initiatives. He stated, “Looking forward to expanding this in 2027. Helping patients be consumers is the only way we lower costs IME.”

The following day, Oliverson commented on fraudulent billing practices in the healthcare sector. On October 31, 2025, he wrote, “Billing fraud is billing fraud. Burn them down.”

Later that same day, Oliverson voiced his support for Briscoe Cain and echoed remarks by Carrie Isaac. In his post dated October 31, 2025, he said, “Well said @CarrieIsaac ! Briscoe is a proven conservative leader. I stand with him also!”

Oliverson has served in the Texas State House since his election in 2017 to represent District 130, succeeding Allen Fletcher.
