Tarleton State’s Jake Tatom, Porter alum, competes in Division I baseball against Abilene Christian

Former Porter High School star Jake Tatom took the field with the Tarleton State Texans as they were defeated 11-4 by the Abilene Christian Wildcats in an NCAA Division I baseball contest Friday, April 10, at 6 p.m.

The matchup, held at Tarleton Baseball Complex, marked the teams’ first meeting this season.

Tatom contributed two hits in his three appearances at the plate and drove in a run.

The Texans are set to face the Wildcats again at Tarleton Baseball Complex on Saturday, April 11.
