Rep. Wesley Hunt Press Office has recently shared a series of tweets expressing his views on significant legal and political developments. These posts, dating from June 18 to June 20, 2025, cover topics including Supreme Court decisions and immigration policies.

On June 18, Rep. Hunt’s office commented on the Supreme Court’s decision to uphold a Tennessee law that prohibits transgender treatments for minors. The tweet stated: “Supreme Court upheld a Tennessee law barring transgender treatments for minors. This is common sense—minors should not participate in transgender treatments or procedures.”

The following day, on June 19, the office addressed another Supreme Court ruling with a tweet saying: ” BREAKING: Supreme Court upholds state’s decision to BAN Transgender Surgeries. It’s OUR responsibility as parents to keep our children safe. And NO child should be making adult decisions, like this.”

On June 20, Rep. Hunt’s press office highlighted concerns regarding immigration policy under the Biden Administration. The tweet stated: “ALERT: Convicted murderer and gang member let into this country by the Biden Admin is now under protective status. Now he cannot be deported by ICE because he was given protective status under a program called ‘DCAT’ in December 2024—one of Biden’s final actions as President!”

Wesley Hunt has served in the U.S. Congress representing Texas’s 38th District since 2023 and resides in Houston.
