Rep. Dan Crenshaw, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Texas' 2nd district, shared a series of tweets on various topics, including a tribute to George Foreman and commentary on influencers. Crenshaw has been a member of Congress since 2019 and is known for his candid views on social media.

On March 22, 2025, Rep. Dan Crenshaw expressed his condolences over the loss of George Foreman, describing him as "a legend" who was not only a champion in boxing but also for the community. Crenshaw highlighted Foreman's roots in Houston's 5th Ward and his journey from struggle to success, noting his achievements such as winning Olympic gold in 1968 and becoming a two-time heavyweight champion of the world. "TX-02 lost a legend."

In another tweet dated March 24, 2025, Crenshaw voiced skepticism about influencers on social media platforms. He cautioned that these individuals are often compensated by campaigns, companies, or Super PACs without regard to political alignment. He recalled when conservatives held specific beliefs about programs like SNAP. "I’ve long said you must be skeptical of 'influencers' on this platform."

On the same day, Crenshaw invited followers to watch an episode of his podcast featuring Calley Means where they discussed issues related to influencers and their impact. He encouraged people to listen to this conversation which he deemed important for public awareness. "I sat down with @CalleyMeans on my podcast to talk about this exact issue."
