City of Galena Park issued the following announcement on Jan 2.
With the start of a new year, I look forward to new opportunities for Galena Park to continue flourishing. My love for our beautiful city drives me to do whatever is necessary to succeed. Thinking of everything that has happened over the last few years gives me a sense of happiness and satisfaction and confirms my faith that we are moving in the right direction for our community. This time has also given me the opportunity to reflect and thank all citizens that have also lived their lives to help our city prosper. Now other cities can look at us as a beacon of progress, hope, and of action.
My beloved citizens, I want to thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve as your Mayor of this beautiful city of Galena Park. Together we have accomplished so much, and I am confident, with your trust and support, we will continue to accomplish so much more. We are truly blessed to live in this great city. I would like to wish everyone a happy and healthy 2021.
