City Of Galena Park issued the following announcement on Dec. 22.
I believe no one should go hungry, especially during the holidays. That is why I would like to invite everyone to a Christmas Curbside Food Distribution today, December 22, from 1:00 PM until supplies last at the City’s Food Pantry, located at 1702 3rd Street. We will have fresh fruits, cereal, milk, chicken, and much more!
Please remember - it is imperative that for your safety and the safety of our employees, we obey and follow the Houston Food Bank and CDC guidelines for social distancing. Please stay in your car and keep your windows closed. Do not get in direct contact with individuals not related to the event and have your vehicle trunks open.
