Restaurant owners on the east side of Harris County will have great access to affordable food and supplies as the Restaurant Depot opens its 139th location in Pasadena.

Just outside of the Houston city limits, Restaurant Depot offers a low-cost alternative to other foodservice providers providing solutions for both restaurant owners and nonprofits, the Pasadena Economic Development Corp. reported in a press release. Open for 40 years, Restaurant Depot assists businesses in staying open and maximizing profits, particularly with the current COVID-19 pandemic impact.

Housed in a 60,000-square-foot facility, the Pasadena location will create over 40 jobs within the community. The grand opening took place Dec. 9 at the 2545 Genoa Red Bluff Road.

There is no minimum order requirement and membership is free to all businesses for the Depot, which will be open seven days a week. Benefits include an online catalog, shopping lists, product searches, recommendations and exclusive specials.
