Steve Toth, a Republican member of the Texas State House representing the 15th district since 2019, recently shared several posts on his X (formerly Twitter) account discussing state policy and political events.
On August 13, 2025, Toth expressed anticipation for an upcoming program featuring two individuals: “Liberty’s Dynamic Duo of Michael and Mary. Looking forward to tuning in.”
Three days later, on August 16, he addressed parents and grandparents regarding education policy in Texas. In his post he wrote: “Parents, Grandparents, please read & Share. This is the TX Counseling Assoc. They provide continuing education for school counselors
They’re fighting bills like this and SB 12 by @SenCreighton that bans sexualizing our children.” The post references ongoing debates over Senate Bill 12, which aims to regulate certain materials and activities presented to children in educational settings.
Later that day, Toth commented on political developments involving Beto O’Rourke and members of the Texas Legislature. He posted: “Yes, @BetoORourke admits that he bribed #TXLege Democrats in exchange for busting quorum.” This statement alludes to previous incidents where Democratic legislators left the state to prevent a legislative quorum during heated policy debates.
Toth has represented Texas’s 15th House district since succeeding Mark Keough in 2019.
