Steve Toth, a Republican member of the Texas State House representing the 15th district since 2019, has recently made several statements on his social media platform regarding political and cultural issues.
On September 17, 2025, Toth addressed the aftermath of Charlie Kirk’s assassination, posting: “One week today since @charliekirk11 assassination. No riots No cities being burned yet the Left is enraged Why? Listen to the video. ‘God has “set eternity in the human heart.” Ecclesiastes 3:11 Every human soul has a God-given awareness of eternity. If you’re at war with God https://t.co/7KY07wAhMi”.
Two days later, on September 19, 2025, Toth commented on television host Jimmy Kimmel’s departure from his show. He wrote: “Hey @JimmyKimmel. You got fired because you’re a liar. You didn’t lie to Conservatives (we know who killed Charlie). You lied to your own delusional ilk and for that, they canned you. Maybe you can start a podcast with @AlecBaldwin “.
Later that same day, Toth reflected on his previous support for fellow Texas politician Dan Crenshaw by stating: “We were all fooled by Dan Crenshaw. Myself and @SaraGonzalesTX included #TXLege #FireDanCrenshaw https://t.co/8adbAaxbSr”.
Toth succeeded Mark Keough in the Texas State House in 2019 after winning election as a Republican representative for District 15.
