Steve Toth, a Republican member of the Texas State House representing the 15th district since 2019, recently posted several comments on his Twitter account addressing a range of topics from podcast appearances to education policy and political disputes.
On December 10, 2025, Toth announced an upcoming podcast episode with Eddie Gallagher, writing: “Great pod cast with Eddie Gallagher, Navy Seal Chief. Look for it next week.”
Later that day, he addressed the issue of book removals in schools, stating: “The Left gets it wrong, again. Removing trash filled, pornographic books is not banning books. Parents can still buy this crap for their kids if they’d like. They just can’t use our tax dollars.” The comment reflects ongoing debates in Texas and other states about which materials are appropriate for public school libraries and who should decide what is available to students.
On December 12, 2025, Toth commented on an alleged dispute involving Congressman Dan Crenshaw and Shawn Ryan: “Seriously? Wow, Dan Crenshaw threatens @ShawnRyan762. Crazy.”
Toth was elected to the Texas State House in 2019 after replacing Mark Keough as representative for District 15.
