Rep. Wesley Hunt’s press office announced a series of updates on economic, educational, and public safety developments through posts made between December 10 and December 12, 2025.
On December 10, the press office reported a monetary policy shift: “Breaking: The Federal Reserve has announced another interest rate drop by another .25%. This is great news, signaling a continued drive toward lowering interest rates to make America more economically strong.”
The following day, attention turned to local education infrastructure. On December 12, the office posted: “In 1973, Spring Branch ISD opened Terrace Elementary School, which has served many students over the years. Today, Congressman Wesley Hunt’s office and community leaders participated in a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the district’s investment in new facilities and quality”.
Later that same day, public safety was highlighted with an update regarding law enforcement activity in Los Angeles: “Breaking: DHS has announced that more than 10,000 illegal immigrants have been arrested in LA . These arrests include individuals wanted for crimes such as murder, child rape, domestic violence, and carjacking. This is another strong step toward a safer country for all citizens.”
Wesley Hunt has represented Texas’s 38th District in the U.S. Congress since 2023. He was born in Houston in 1981 and continues to reside there. In recent elections, Hunt secured his seat by defeating Melissa McDonough in 2024 with approximately 63% of the vote and Duncan Klussmann in 2022 with a similar margin.
