Rep. Wesley Hunt Press Office, the official communications channel for U.S. Representative Wesley Hunt of Texas’s 38th District, published a series of statements on social media between July 31 and August 1, 2025, addressing administration policies on transgender services for minors, immigration enforcement, and economic performance.
On July 31, the office posted: “Ending the chemical castration of our youth is a major priority of the Trump administration. Universities will not receive federal funding if they provide transgender services to minors.”
Later that day, another post stated: “ICE is enforcing the law of the land. Those who enter our country are subject to deportation. ICE has been working tirelessly to deport criminal illegal migrants and it is the priority of this Administration to remove criminals from the U.S. This is a common-sense position.”
On August 1, Rep. Hunt’s press office commented on recent economic news: ” About that Recession: Trump’s WH has beaten economic expectations, as nearly 80% of S&P 500 Companies have beaten revenue expectations. Democrats panicked over Trump’s tariffs, now they’re thanking him.”
Wesley Hunt has represented Texas’s 38th District in Congress since 2023 after winning elections in both 2022 and 2024 by significant margins against Duncan Klussmann and Melissa McDonough respectively. Born in Houston in 1981, Hunt continues to reside in his hometown while serving in Congress.
