Rep. Wesley Hunt Press Office, representing Texas’s 38th District in the U.S. Congress since 2023, published a series of posts on social media addressing issues related to national sovereignty, law enforcement, and societal values.

On January 12, 2026, the press office stated: ” Americans come first. Humanitarian programs should never be exploited at the expense of U.S. workers, public safety, or national sovereignty.”

The following day, on January 13, 2026, another post read: “STAND WITH ICE. STAND WITH LAW & ORDER.”

Later that same day, the account addressed concerns about legal protections for women and girls: “Protecting our daughters should be common sense. The fact that this issue has reached the Supreme Court is a sobering reflection of where we are in society. When common sense stops being common, something fundamental has gone wrong.”

Wesley Hunt was born in Houston in 1981 and continues to reside there. He won his seat by defeating Melissa McDonough in the 2024 general election with nearly 63% of the vote and previously secured victory against Duncan Klussmann in 2022 with a similar margin.
