Rep. Wesley Hunt Press Office posted a series of tweets on May 4, 2026, addressing recent incidents involving U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations and reactions from public officials.
In a tweet at 14:07 UTC, the press office stated, “VIOLENT Anti-ICE protesters in Brooklyn just attacked NYPD officers while defending a Nigerian illegal alien with a lengthy criminal rap sheet. This Criminal overstayed his visa, has prior arrests for assault and drug possession, then tried to run over ICE agents with his car.”
At 15:12 UTC, another post read, ” ICE Raids on Somali Fraud continue. 22 Search Warrants were executed across the twin cities. Meanwhile, Tim Walz is attempting to take credit for “cracking down on fraud”, after facilitating it in the first place. You can’t make this up.”
Later that day at 16:26 UTC, the account commented on remarks by New York City Mayor Mamdani regarding ICE operations: “NYC Mayor Mamdani calls ICE raids “cruel” and “inhumane.” What’s inhumane is that Americans fear for their safety because of criminal illegals who cause chaos in sanctuary cities. The radical left puts Americans last when they support these sanctuary policies. It’s a disgrace!”
