Rep. Wesley Hunt Press Office, representing U.S. Congressman Wesley Hunt of Texas’s 38th District, posted a series of statements on X between September 5 and September 8, 2025, commenting on recent political developments and national discourse.

On September 5, the press office addressed a new executive order from President Trump: “The EO signed by President Trump renames the DOD the Department of War. The message is clear: Peace through Strength!”

Three days later, on September 8, another post focused on urban policy and media coverage: “Trump SLAMS the fake News. Cleaning up our cities is not war. It’s common-sense! Does the left want safer cities or not?” That same day, the account commented on Democratic Party dynamics: “Bernie Sanders takes the podium telling Dems they need to back Zohran Mamdani. The new Democrat party = Socialism. Is this the future Dems want?”

Wesley Hunt has represented Texas’s 38th District in Congress since 2023 after winning his first election against Duncan Klussmann with 63% of the vote in 2022 and securing reelection in 2024 against Melissa McDonough with nearly 63% as well. Born in Houston in 1981, Hunt continues to reside there while serving in Congress.
