Rep. Wesley Hunt Press Office, representing Texas’s 38th District in the U.S. Congress since 2023, recently posted a series of tweets addressing immigration enforcement, legal actions related to federal and state cooperation, and cultural figures.

On July 24, 2025, the account wrote: “Two illegal immigrants, let in by the Biden Administration in 2023, were arrested for shooting a CBP officer in Washington Park. This comes following Laticia James’ lawsuit against the Trump Admin and NY’s refusal to cooperate with ICE.”

The following day, on July 25, 2025, the office commented on a prominent figure from American pop culture: “Hulk Hogan’s legacy is nothing short of legendary. He wasn’t merely a wrestling icon, he was the living embodiment of red, white, and blue. When “Real American” thundered through the arena and the Stars and Stripes waved behind him, Hogan stood as a symbol of patriotism,” referencing Hulk Hogan’s symbolic role within professional wrestling.

Later that same day, Rep. Hunt’s press office addressed recent legal developments involving federal agencies and New York State: “DOJ is suing NY over its sanctuary status after an off‑duty ICE agent was shot in the neck. America will NOT tolerate attacks on ICE—let this lawsuit be a warning: Democrats who defy federal law will face real consequences.”

Wesley Hunt has served as a member of Congress since 2023 and represents Texas’s 38th District. Born in Houston in 1981, Hunt continues to reside there.
