Rep. Wesley Hunt Press Office has recently posted a series of tweets addressing issues within the Democratic Party, trade deficit developments, and actions by left-wing House members.

On August 4, 2025, the account stated, “Democrats are still without a leader. CNN reports that the democrat party is a ‘complete and utter mess,’ encouraging someone to jump in to save them from current liberal leadership. Will Dems continue to push radical ideologies or will they listen to the American people?”

The following day, on August 5, 2025, Rep. Hunt’s office highlighted economic news: “Trade deficit SHRINKING! According to data released this morning, the trade deficit has decreased by 16% since May. This is just the beginning of the Trump administration’s trade negotiations.”

Later on August 5, another post criticized Democratic lawmakers for their conduct abroad: “Left-wing House members travel to Mexico City—spending most of their time criticizing America on the world stage. Rep. Delia Ramirez says she is a Guatemalan before she is an American. Dems continue to underscore their priorities of putting foreign countries above Americans.”

Wesley Hunt represents Texas’s 38th District in Congress and has held office since 2023 after winning elections in both 2022 and 2024 with more than sixty percent of the vote each time. Born in Houston in 1981, Hunt continues to reside there.
