Rep. Wesley Hunt Press Office has used its official X account to call for the federal government to take strong action against Antifa and promote efforts to codify its designation as a domestic terror organization. The posts also highlighted Congressman Hunt’s participation in an economic summit focusing on infrastructure and Houston’s energy sector.

On October 15, 2025, the press office stated: “Label Antifa what they are: terrorists. Then hit them with the full force of the federal government, cut off their funding, freeze their assets, and prosecute anyone who bankrolls political violence. No mercy for domestic terrorists.”

Wesley Hunt has represented Texas’s 38th District in Congress since 2023 after winning elections in both 2022 and 2024 with over 60% of the vote each time. Born in Houston in 1981, Hunt continues to reside there while serving his district.
