Rep. Wesley Hunt Press Office, the official account for U.S. Representative Wesley Hunt of Texas’s 38th District, posted a series of tweets between September 30 and October 1, 2025, addressing issues ranging from pediatric cancer advocacy to criticisms of political opponents and local school administration controversies.
On September 30, 2025, the account highlighted an event at the White House involving President Trump and a young cancer survivor: “In the Oval Office today, a nine-year-old cancer survivor stood with courage beyond her years, sharing her story as President Trump signed an Executive Order to confront pediatric cancer. These moments remind us that America’s greatness is found in the resilience of her people.”
The following day, on October 1, 2025, Rep. Hunt’s office responded to recent media commentary regarding President Trump’s administration: “MSNBC smears President Trump’s administration as ‘liars.’ But here’s the truth: Chuck Schumer doesn’t fight for Americans, he fights for illegals. When President Trump refuses to bow to the radical left, Schumer spreads propaganda to cover his betrayal of the American people.”
Later that morning, another tweet addressed developments within Des Moines public schools: ” UPDATE: The Des Moines Superintendent has RESIGNED after it was revealed he had NO license and NO legal authority to work in this country. The school board gave Ian Roberts until noon yesterday to prove his citizenship. He failed. Accountability matters.”
Wesley Hunt has served in Congress since 2023 representing Texas’s newly created 38th District and resides in Houston where he was born in 1981. He won re-election campaigns in both 2022 and 2024 by significant margins over Duncan Klussmann and Melissa McDonough respectively.
