Rep. Wesley Hunt Press Office, representing Texas’s 38th District, posted a series of statements on social media between August 22 and August 25, 2025, addressing recent legal and political developments.
On August 22, the office commented on judicial intervention in a detention facility case: “Federal Judge attempts to SHUT DOWN Alligator Alcatraz.
77 Million people voted to keep these criminals off our streets, and no activist judge will delay Democracy.”
Three days later, on August 25, the account reported on the immigration status of an individual alleged to have gang affiliations: “Kilmar Abrego Garcia is back in ICE custody.
Alleged MS-13 gang member labeled by Dems as the “Maryland man,” is facing new deportation charges.
Will Dems run to his rescue again?”
Later that same day, another post addressed a policy change regarding flag desecration: “BREAKING: President Trump just drew the line: flag burning is DONE.
This Administration will not tolerate the desecration of our nation’s symbol.
Burn it, and you’ll be prosecuted. No excuses. No exceptions.”
Wesley Hunt has served in Congress since 2023 after winning elections in both 2022 and 2024 with over sixty percent of the vote each time. He was born in Houston in 1981 and continues to reside there while representing his district.
