Rep. Wesley Hunt Press Office posted a series of tweets on March 17, 2026, addressing anti-ICE protests and promoting a high school art competition in Texas’s 38th Congressional District.
In one tweet, the account stated: “Anti-ICE protesters prevent the arrest of an alleged child Rapist. The radical left would rather defend criminals than side with the law. Leaders need to speak clearly, denounce this, and put an immediate stop to those who seek to obstruct justice.” (March 17, 2026). This post called for leaders to denounce actions that interfere with law enforcement.
