Rep. Wesley Hunt Press Office has released a series of statements on social media addressing immigration enforcement, political discourse, and free speech in the United States.

On September 15, 2025, the press office reported that “Rep. Wesley Hunt met with Houston ICE leadership to discuss Enforcement & Removal priorities in support of President Trump’s agenda. Covering 57 counties, 2 sub-offices & 5 facilities, ICE is expanding to safeguard our communities & protect the homeland. “

Later that day, the account posted about unity and political violence: “Real unity can only come from the truth. The truth is what Charlie Kirk made it his mission to reveal. Left-wing extremism has shown its ugly head and it must be put to an end immediately. You CANNOT silence your opposition with a bullet. It is not the American way.”

On September 16, 2025, another statement criticized what was described as intolerance from left-leaning groups: “To the intolerant left, the phrase ‘debate me’ is frightening, and their only response is to silence opposing views. Over 50% of radical far-left individuals believe it is justified to silence our President.”

Wesley Hunt represents Texas’s 38th District in Congress and has held this position since 2023 after winning elections in both 2022 and 2024 by significant margins against Duncan Klussmann and Melissa McDonough respectively. Born in Houston in 1981, Hunt continues to reside there while serving his district.
