Rep. Wesley Hunt Press Office has recently provided several updates and statements via social media, addressing topics ranging from natural disasters to economic policy and immigration. Hunt, who has represented Texas’s 38th District in the U.S. Congress since 2023, continues to engage with constituents on pressing issues affecting both Texas and the nation.
On July 14, 2025, Rep. Hunt addressed ongoing flooding in Kerr County, Texas. In his statement, he said: “This is the latest update on the devastating flooding in Kerr County, Texas. As we continue to grieve the unimaginable loss of these precious children, the search for the missing presses on. Every moment carries the weight of sorrow and the hope of reunion. Our prayers remain”.
The following day, on July 15, 2025, Rep. Hunt commented on U.S. tariff policy and its impact on inflation and government revenue: “Tariffs have NO EFFECT on U.S. inflation. In fact, America has generated over $100 Billion in revenue as of July 10th. President Trump’s winning streak continues.”
Later that same day, Rep. Hunt referenced law enforcement actions regarding migrants: “5 criminal illegal migrants held at “Alligator Alcatraz.” The left’s response is to cry that the conditions of the PRISON are not fit for criminals. If it were up to democrats, these criminals would be up in the Roosevelt Hotel.”
Wesley Hunt was born in Houston in 1981 and currently resides there.
