Rep. Dan Crenshaw, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Texas’ 2nd district, has been active on social media, sharing his perspectives on various national and international issues.

On June 17, 2025, Crenshaw expressed his thoughts regarding President Trump’s challenging decisions concerning Iran and Israel. He stated that “Few Presidents have had to confront the incredibly difficult set of decisions now before President Trump.” He raised questions about whether to assist Israel or risk allowing Iran to advance its nuclear program if Israel’s efforts fall short.

Later that day, Crenshaw commented on public sentiment towards urban unrest. He tweeted that “Turns out people don’t like to see cities burnt to the ground, looted, and overrun by chaos.”

In another post on June 17, he criticized the permitting process for pipelines under President Biden’s administration. He remarked that “Under Biden, it took longer to permit a pipeline than to build one. That’s insane.” He highlighted “The One Big Beautiful Bill,” suggesting it would streamline processes and bolster American energy dominance.

Dan Crenshaw was born in Aberdeen, Scotland in 1984 and currently resides in Humble. A graduate of Tufts University with a BA earned in 2006, he has represented Texas’ 2nd District since succeeding Ted Poe in 2019.
