Congressman Morgan Luttrell, who represents Texas’s 8th congressional district, has recently shared several posts on his social media account reflecting on themes of service and gratitude.

The following day, August 11, 2025, he emphasized the cost of freedom and encouraged recognition for military service members. He wrote: “Freedom isn’t free. Thank a veteran who paid the price.”

Morgan Luttrell has served in Congress since winning the general election in 2022 against Laura Jones with over two-thirds of the vote. He maintained a similar margin in the subsequent 2024 general election against Jones as well. These electoral victories reflect sustained support from his constituents.
