Raken Vargas, a former Empowering Others Prep standout who now plays for the St. Mary’s Rattlers, is set to take part in the Division II NCAA Basketball Tournament.

The team enters as the No. 7 seed and will face off against the No. 2 seed, Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds.

The team’s first game tips off Saturday, March 14, at 1:30 p.m. at Kenneth E. Burg Center.
