Congressman Morgan Luttrell, who has been serving Texas’ 8th district since 2023, recently shared a series of messages on social media. These posts reflect both personal sentiments and public service announcements pertinent to his constituents.
On May 11, 2025, Congressman Luttrell extended a heartfelt greeting for Mother’s Day. He wrote: “Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing TX-08 moms, especially my wife Leslie! Wishing you all a blessed and joyful day.”
The following day, May 12, 2025, he addressed the needs of veterans in Southeast Texas. Luttrell informed his followers: “Veterans — if you or someone you know is in need of food support, Combined Arms is hosting monthly pantries across SE Texas. Details & RSVP: https://t.co/Mr2Br9fXs6 Locations: Houston, Galveston, & Conroe.”
Later that same day, he reminded travelers to ensure their travel documents are up-to-date as the travel season approaches. He stated: ” Travel season is approaching! Before you make any international vacation plans, check to see that your passport hasn’t expired. Don’t hesitate to reach out to my office if you need assistance. “
Morgan Luttrell was born in Houston in 1975 and currently resides in Magnolia. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Sam Houston State University.
