Congressman Morgan Luttrell, who has represented Texas’s 8th district in the U.S. Congress since 2023, recently shared a series of posts on social media addressing themes of remembrance and national resilience. Luttrell, a Houston native and graduate of Sam Houston State University, succeeded Kevin Brady in office and currently resides in Magnolia.

On July 12, 2025, Luttrell posted a brief message urging the public to honor certain individuals: “Remember these heroes.”

The following day, on July 13, 2025, he expressed condolences for victims of recent natural disasters in Texas: “May we always remember those lost in the Texas floods and keep their families in our prayers.”

Later that same day, Luttrell commented on national events and political leadership: “Our great American comeback would not have been possible if evil had won that day. A few millimeters would have changed our nation forever. I am so grateful to have President Trump in office fighting to make America great again.”

Morgan Luttrell was born in Houston in 1975 and is now 47 years old. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Sam Houston State University.
