Congressman Morgan Luttrell, who represents Texas’s 8th congressional district, posted a series of tweets on August 25 and 26, 2025, addressing regional collaboration and commemorating fallen service members.
On August 25, Luttrell highlighted a meeting with local leaders: “Great meeting with the Alabama-Coushatta Tribe of Texas today. Thank you for the important discussion on our shared priorities for the region.”
The following day, he honored U.S. military personnel. On August 26, Luttrell posted: “Marine Corps Lance Cpl. David L. Espinoza”. In another tweet that same day, he reflected on a significant anniversary: “Four years ago, America witnessed one of the most tragic days in recent military history.
The names of those lost at Abbey Gate deserve to be honored and remembered “.
Morgan Luttrell has been elected multiple times to represent his district in Congress. He won against Laura Jones in both the 2022 and 2024 general elections by significant margins—receiving over two-thirds of the vote each time.
