Congressman Morgan Luttrell, who represents Texas’s 8th congressional district, recently highlighted his support for Texas workers, veterans, and local leaders in a series of posts on social media.
On September 1, 2025, Luttrell marked Labor Day by expressing pride in the state’s economic strength. He wrote, “When Texans thrive, so does America. On Labor Day, I’m proud to represent a state which values a hard day’s work and is home to one of the best economies in the country.”
The following day, on September 2, Luttrell acknowledged the contributions of veterans. In his post he stated: “Supporting those who served. Thank you, @vfwpost4709.”
On September 3, Luttrell recognized former Congressman Kevin Brady for his decades of service representing TX-08 and noted the opening of a new community facility named in Brady’s honor. Luttrell posted: “Chairman Kevin Brady fought relentlessly for us in TX-08 for decades, leading one of the most powerful committees in Congress. This week, the Kevin Brady Library and Community Center opened to the public in the Woodlands. Congratulations on this well-deserved honor.”
Morgan Luttrell has maintained strong electoral support since first winning office. In both 2022 and 2024 general elections he defeated Laura Jones with over two-thirds of the vote each time.
