Congressman Morgan Luttrell has recently highlighted Texas-based manufacturing and innovation, as well as the ongoing crisis of veteran suicide, in a series of posts on his official Twitter account.
On August 16, 2025, Luttrell shared his experience visiting a local manufacturer: “Visited @TrinityJobs in Navasota and saw real American manufacturing in action. Texans creating critical infrastructure right here in our area.”
The following day, he posted about another Texas company working on energy solutions: “Met with TerraFlow Energy in Katy — a Texas company developing advanced battery storage systems for critical infrastructure. Texas innovation at work.” This reflects ongoing efforts within the state to advance technology related to critical infrastructure.
On August 18, Luttrell addressed mental health challenges faced by veterans: “17 veterans die each day by suicide — this is 17 too many. It’s time we take real action to support them and confront this crisis head-on.” The statement underscores concerns over veteran welfare and calls for increased support.
Morgan Luttrell has served as U.S. Representative after winning consecutive elections against Laura Jones in both 2022 and 2024, securing over two-thirds of the vote each time. In the 2022 general election, he received 68.1% of votes compared to Jones’s 30.5%, and in the 2024 contest he won with 68.2% of the vote versus Jones’s 31.8%.
