Congressman Morgan Luttrell, who represents Texas’ 8th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of statements on July 22, 2025, highlighting border security efforts and collaboration with fellow lawmakers.

In his first post of the day, Luttrell wrote: “Real results. Real security. The border wall is being built. Another promise kept.” (July 22, 2025).

Later that day, he acknowledged a colleague’s support by stating: “Thank you @RepMichaelGuest for joining me on this effort.” (July 22, 2025).

He also addressed broader security concerns in another post: “Border security means protecting against both physical and cyber threats. As threats evolve, so must our defenses.” (July 22, 2025).

Morgan Luttrell has served as the representative for Texas’s 8th District since replacing Kevin Brady in 2023. Born in Houston in 1975 and currently residing in Magnolia, Luttrell graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2000.
